General Terms and Conditions for DataForge Services

Effective: February 2026

Scope of Services

  • DataForge provides data cleaning, deduplication, enrichment, and tender search services through a web-based platform.
  • These terms apply to all users who register for and use DataForge services, whether free or paid.
  • By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain multiple free accounts.

User Obligations

  • Use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
  • Do not upload data that you do not have the right to process.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access limitations.
  • Do not use automated scripts to access the services without our permission.
  • Comply with all applicable data protection laws when processing personal data.

Intellectual Property

  • DataForge and its licensors retain all rights to the platform, software, and documentation.
  • You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of data you upload.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the services.
  • Our AI models may learn general patterns from aggregated, anonymized usage data.

Payment Terms

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Credits are non-refundable but do not expire while your account is active.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until renewal.
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period.

Limitation of Liability

  • The services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the services.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or in cases of gross negligence.

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms.
  • Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Sankt Augustin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
  • For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time.
  • Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
